If you live in the Metro Atlanta area, you know we’ve had MORE than our fair share of rain this year. I mean, there were weeks at a time that we were unsure if it was ever going to stop! I think we must have paid our rain dues because May has been absolutely beautiful here. We’ve spent TONS of time outside and are looking another beautiful week ahead.
Gorgeous days aside, we all know what’s coming with all of this sunshine – our epic Southern HEAT! Now, we love a good kiddie pool and water table at our house and it’s essential on days where I’m swamped with Real Estate and I can setup my laptop and work from my back porch while my kids play. But now and then on a super hot day I like to load the kids up and take them to a local splash pad.
Seriously, they’ll play for hours and undoubtedly make friends with all of the other kids there. What’s better on a hot summer day in Cobb County?! (well, maybe finishing this trip with an ice cream stop – maybe I’ll compile those on a later post)
